Short Biography

“Healing does not erase what you lived through. It teaches you how to live without being defined by it.”

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner currently pursuing certifications in Play Therapy and EMDR Therapy. I specialize in trauma, with a particular focus on child abuse and neglect, as well as mental health concerns, life transitions, and family relationships. My work primarily supports children ages 6 and older while also serving adolescents, young adults, parents, and families.

More than a decade ago, I entered this profession with one goal—to dedicate my life’s work to helping children. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including supporting neurodivergent children, youth experiencing homelessness, and children and teens in specialized foster care. My experience has also allowed me to work closely with parents and caregivers, helping restore relationships impacted by trauma while advocating for clients throughout their healing journey.

My professional experiences, combined with my own personal journey, have shaped the compassionate and individualized approach I bring to therapy. I believe healing can happen through many forms of expression, including play, creativity, conversation, and meaningful connection. Every individual, family, and relationship is unique, and therapy should reflect those differences.

My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and rooted in the whole-person philosophy emphasized in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). I recognize that emotional well-being is influenced by much more than a diagnosis or a single life event. Relationships, environment, physical health, and life experiences all play an important role in the healing process.

Above all, I believe connection is one of the greatest sources of healing. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel understood, accepted, and empowered. Whether through laughter, creativity, or simply sitting together during life’s hardest moments, I strive to meet every client exactly where they are. No one should have to face life’s challenges alone, and together we can work toward lasting healing and hope.
